
We are seeking to establish a pool of Assistant Gardener - Handyperson for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
Suitable applicants will work to provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. They will maintain and present the school grounds in an attractive, clean and tidy condition, and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management.
Suitable applicants will continue to upgrade our existing school grounds and maintain them to a high standard. We are looking for team players to join our friendly staff who are able to adapt to the diverse role as an assistant school gardener.
Suitable applicants should be confident in performing minor repairs and have a sound knowledge of safe work practices in order to carry out your duties. You will ideally have the capacity to work unsupervised, with the ability to identify and recognise work that is required to be completed, without specific direction.
