The Role
Collier Primary School (PS) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Physical Education Teacher to join their team.
The successful applicant will ideally work across the school, conducting lessons with students from Pre-Primary to Year six (6). The successful applicant should be able to work independently and innovatively to provide high quality hands- on learning opportunities linked to the Western Australian Curriculum. Ideally, you will be flexible and take on other roles as needed within the school and support other specialist teachers as part of a team. The successful applicant should have the ability to establish and maintain strong links with the parent body and local community to provide additional opportunities for students.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience organising whole school and interschool carnivals and be available to assist with extra-curricular sporting activities organised by the school. The school uses Sports Tracker and Consent2Go to assist with the running of these programs.
The successful applicant will ideally differentiate all sporting activities to cater for the diverse needs of our students and use positive behaviour strategies aligned to the school’s ethos. We are seeking a team player, a collaborative and driven staff member to join our team.
The successful applicant will ideally build positive relationships with staff, students and parents and be a advocate of the schools sporting opportunities, engaging students.
