
This is a 9 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2025 with possible extension (12 months)
Bentley Primary School (PS) opened in 1952 and is situated 8kms from the CBD. The school currently caters for 330 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and we are expecting around 360 students in 2025. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally have outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate effectively and build genuine relationships with parents, students and staff members. You should quickly establish a positive and welcoming classroom environment with high expectations, and a growth mindset, while building students’ positive social and emotional skills.
The successful applicant will ideally be outstanding classroom practitioners who can enhance current school practices. They will ideally display an ability and passion to work in an environment that has a major focus on high expectations and improving student outcomes. They should be committed to making a difference in the lives of our students, be highly skilled and motivated educators with a passion for teaching and have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum. Experience with Talk for Writing, Talk for Reading, Sounds Write, Origo Steppingstones, Brightpath, Elastik, Progressive Achievement Tests (PAT) assessments, explicit teaching, and daily review will be highly regarded.
