We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
North Beach Primary School (PS) is about making a difference for our students through delivery of contemporary curriculum and evidenced based pedagogy. We keep a whole child focus for our students to grow and reach their individual potential, build on a strong pastoral care approach and positive relationships.
We are proud to boast an excellent reputation for being a very friendly school. Our enrolment is close to 405 students from along the costal strip including Trigg, Waterman, and of course North Beach. North Beach PS itself is found in close proximity to bushland which adjoins Star Swamp, something we take advantage of for teaching programs.
Speaking of teaching programs, we offer a broad range of innovative and unrivalled programs across the school. From our Bush Buddies to specialist visual arts and music to physical education. We also make use of a communication strategy using Compass, email and social media along with traditional methods of communication to keep the school community well informed, as the voice of our school community is very important to us.

Cleaners also perform more in-depth cleaning duties during school vacation times, such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, pressure cleaning outside areas, and maintenance for gymnasium floors.
Cleaners are also responsible for identifying and bringing any faults or maintenance issues to the attention of the Cleaner in Charge. Attention to detail and efficient work ethic would serve you well in this role, and being able to prioritise and coordinate work with others is desirable.
