Student Engagement and Wellbeing are seeking to establish a pool of Senior Consultants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of March, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.
The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and initiatives that enhance teaching and learning across schools. Your expertise will support the development of system-wide strategies, resources, and professional learning to strengthen the capability of educators. By influencing whole-school approaches and aligning policies, services, and resources, you will play a key role in improving student outcomes. Your ability to undertake research, analyse data, and interpret contextual information will inform evidence-based initiatives that address current and emerging needs in education.
Collaboration is central to this role, requiring you to engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement student support initiatives. You will provide subject matter expertise, contribute to reports and briefings, and work across teams to ensure integrated services that meet the needs of schools and students. Operating in a culturally responsive manner, you will help shape effective policies and programs that enhance student engagement and wellbeing.
