The Role
Darling Range SC an Independent Public School is s seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Health and Physical Education Teacher – Baseball Coordinator.
Darling Range SC has a successful high profile specialist Baseball program with a significant public image and requires a specialist teacher to assume a leadership role not only in the teaching of the program, but also in the marketing and promotion of the program.
It is preferable that the successful applicant has coaching experience at State League level or equivalent and have, in some capacity, actively participated in their chosen sport. The Baseball coordinator role entails a commitment to coaching, competition and camps or tours. It also requires an applicant who will ideally establish strong partnerships with parents and sporting associations at both local and state level. The successful applicant will ideally have strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to be reflective of themselves and their practice.
Part of this role requires travel, applicants who hold a bus licence or are willing to obtain one are encouraged to apply.
