
We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Lakelands Primary School (PS) opened in 2014 and is in the rapidly growing suburb of Lakelands, north of Mandurah, in which 673 students were enrolled at the beginning of 2017. Lakelands PS caters for students in Kindergarten to Year 6 and boasts an outstanding team of practitioners who share a commitment to working hand in hand with our community to provide a quality education for our students. The Role
A school officer undertakes reception duties including greeting visitors, answering the telephone, and responding to routine enquiries and requests for information. They also provide general clerical and administrative support including preparing correspondence, newsletters, notices, and other materials. Other duties will include operating and maintaining office equipment including monitoring and ordering office consumables, inputting data, and generating routine reports and other documents from the school databases.
Suitable applicants should ideally have prior experience working in an office environment and can use a computer with a variety of software packages. They should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including customer services practices when dealing with staff, parents and students and be able to work in a team environment.
