Our students are the next generation of farmers and industry leaders, and we are looking for the right people with the right attitude (with or without the usual qualifications) to help them get there.

The successful applicant will also assist in the preparation and delivery of agricultural training programs and assists with the instruction and supervision of groups of year 10 to 12 students in a workplace environment. Additionally, they will ideally have the ability to work as part of a vibrant close team, have strong organisational skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with young adult students and other staff.
Agricultural Training Officers work a set Monday to Friday roster but also share in weekend and after hours’ overtime to cover livestock welfare needs and other essential farm tasks. They are paid 150 hours of commuted overtime per year, equating to an additional 15% salary on top of the base rate. Annual leave must be taken during school term breaks.
The usual qualifications needed for this job are a Certificate III in Agriculture, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Don’t worry if you don’t have these qualifications because if you are the right person we will upskill you within the first 6 to 12 months of your employment.
