Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably
experienced person for the role of Manager, Office of the Chief
Information Officer.
This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment
for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or
permanency.
As part of the Health Support
Services (HSS) ICT Business Unit, the Manager, OCIO is responsible
for:
- Managing the business and
administrative functions of ICT including planning and
management of the budget, human and physical resources of the
CIO Office, ensuring high quality advice and support is
provided to the CIO, members of the Senior Leadership Team and
the HSS Board.
- Leading and coordinating
the strategic planning, direction, efficiency, and
effectiveness of HSS ICT business operations, including
management of effective governance practices.
- Manages and maintain
oversight of strategies, actions and responses to industry,
Health and other reports or recommendations that affect ICT.
Periodically reviews and provides informed reports and advice
to the CIO and ICT Senior Leadership Team.
- Leading and managing the
governance, cadence, planning and delivery of the HSS ICT
annual plan that underpins services provided to the WA Health
system.
- Maintains oversight of
key customer relationships across the WA health
system.
