The Role
Como Secondary College is seeking a highly motivated and effective Digital Technologies teacher. The successful applicant should demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding to teach Digital Technologies up to and including Year 12 Applied Information Technology ATAR course. Suitable applicants will ideally have recent experience teaching Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) units and be able to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Western Australian Curriculum. The ability to teach in a second learning area is highly desirable.
The successful applicant should be committed to promoting and fostering student engagement and academic achievement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. The successful applicant will ideally exhibit high standards of professionalism and will embrace opportunities for collaboration within the college community and neighbouring schools.
