The Role
Leeming SHS is seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed Technology and Enterprise Teacher to join our team.
Initially the role will involve delivering a combination of business and digital technology-based courses. However, moving beyond 2025 and for the successful candidate, there is scope to develop and deliver never-before-offered courses that take full advantage of our new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) classrooms and an opportunity to lead and grow Leeming’s STEM course offerings.
The successful applicant will join a diverse team of staff who are responsible for delivering a range of Business, Digital Technologies and Robotics subjects in line with the Western Australian Curriculum. The candidate will ideally establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment, modelling high expectations and a commitment to excellence.
As the successful candidate you should have a student-centred approach to teaching with the capacity to provide learning experiences that are inclusive and maximise the utilisation of technology in the classroom. Ideally, you will be able to cater to differing learning styles using a variety of teaching and learning strategies to engage and motivate all students.
Ideally you will display the professional knowledge, understanding and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Technology and Enterprise curriculum and have proven success working with very able students from Years 7 to 12.
