Your new role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably
experienced person for the role of Senior Procurement Advisor.
This is a Fixed Term Full Time Part Time appointment for 18
months with the possibility of extensions or permanency.
The Senior Procurement Advisor is responsible for delivering
strategic procurement and supply chain services across the WA
health system, with a focus on ICT, clinical, and
healthcare-related business contracts. This role involves supplier
relationship management, contract oversight, category management,
and procurement analytics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and
value for money in procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring
alignment with WA Health policies, ethical standards, and best
practices.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and
procurement compliance to support healthcare service
delivery.
- Provide strategic procurement advice, identifying
cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Support business improvement initiatives and change
management efforts.
- Maintain a strong customer-focused approach, placing
stakeholders at the centre of procurement decisions.
