The Role
As School Officers, the applications would be the first point of contact for our school and be responsible for completing administrative duties including greeting all visitors, answering the telephone and responding to routine enquires and requests for information. You should model effective and quality customer and administrative support services delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.
Winthrop PS is a vibrant, happy, and friendly school with all staff working together as a team to ensure the students have the best possible education. You will provide assistance to other members of the school administration team with maintaining school databases, records and management information systems to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
Suitable applicants should possess strong written and oral communication skills necessary to assist develop school marketing materials and newsletters. It is desirable that the successful applicant has a through knowledge of Department of Education databases, records management systems. Accordingly, you will have strong financial skills, including the ability to process transactions to completions within resource management (RM) Billing and RM Finance.
