The Role
The successful applicant will ideally promote a collaborative, positive approach in providing opportunities for all staff and students to achieve the best possible outcomes. They will ideally be pro-active and innovative in Information Technology processes and systems and have excellent Customer Service skills.
The successful applicant should provide training, advice and support to staff and students on desktop, software applications, school wireless/network connectivity for different devices, particularly iOS devices, and research and identify appropriate software packages and other resources.
In this role you would assist with the installation and upgrading of Information Technology systems and maintain accurate records of assets and resources. Part of this role may involve taking responsibility for maintaining the College’s Bring Your Own Device program through Jamf School/ Zulu Desk. Experience in the use and administration of Compass, osTicket and Windows server will be highly beneficial, but not essential. You would be part of the team who is creating cybersecurity systems and Mars remote operations in the Western Australian Space Science Centre which is built around the state of the art technology and facilities.
