This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025.
Duncraig Senior High School (SHS) is situated in the north-western suburbs on the coastal strip 18 kilometres from Perth. The Role
As the Events Officer you provide support with the marketing, planning, and coordinating of school events including graduation, school ball, assemblies, school tours, parents’ evenings and functions. You will develop a range of school communications, publications and materials, including social media, to support marketing activities and events.
You will ideally be organised and able to collaborate with others to assist in the coordination and planning of large-scale events such as the annual school ball and graduation.
You will ideally have website maintenance experience to support the maintenance and regular updating of the school website, ensuring published content is current, relevant and that associated links are active. Experience is also required to support the administration and maintenance of databases and records information management systems as required. Experience in the use of Facebook, Instagram business and Canva are also preferable.
To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to develop positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and a solution focused approach, to ensure all school events run smoothly.
