This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025
Borden Primary School is a small, attractive school situated in a picturesque farming area, about an hour's drive north-east of Albany and four hours south-east of Perth. The town offers basic amenities, including a tavern, post office, farm suppliers, and a large grain handling facility, along with medical services in nearby Gnowangerup. The school benefits from a strong community spirit, with close relationships between students, staff, and parents, fostering a safe and caring environment for learning. The Stirling Ranges and Bremer Bay's beautiful beaches are nearby, and there are government houses for incoming teachers.
Since 1925, the school has been a cornerstone of the local community. The Borden School Council, comprising parents, staff, and community representatives, works alongside the principal to guide the school's development. The school is focused on helping students become motivated learners, fostering resilience, and encouraging respect for people and the environment. Together, the school community is building a strong foundation for students' future success.
