Hello, are you… An
innovator? A problem solver? A team player? A customer focused
thinker? Committed to helping others? Interested in contributing to
the health of all Western Australians?
HSS Planning and Architecture
provides strategic advice and guidance to the WA Health system for
the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of
digital technologies in support of quality healthcare outcomes. We
expedite the development of bright ideas into digital health
innovation, and we are at the pointy end of engagement with our
customers for new digital services and the development of solution
architecture and designs. We provide digital expertise into some of
the most exciting healthcare infrastructure developments in the
state, and we drive the strategic direction, planning and delivery
of the frameworks, principles, policies, standards, specifications,
and architecture roadmaps that underpin the development and support
all digital services across WA Health.
If you read that and thought,
“this sounds like the place for me”, then you
could be in luck.
Your new role
HSS Planning and Architecture
currently has three (3) substantive vacancies in our senior
leadership team – the Manager Customer Engagement and
Solutions, the Manager Digital Facilities Architecture, and the
Manager ICT Strategy and Planning – and we are seeking
suitably experienced, interested, (and interesting) individuals to
help lead this critical function. We need people that can talk to
other people, that can translate technical concepts into business
understanding, and business requirements into technology direction.
We need people that are passionate and focussed, maybe even a bit
stubborn about delivering for their customers – knowing that
what we do helps deliver healthcare to patients and clients
throughout Western Australia. We need people that can roll up their
sleeves and get stuck in. They can pound a keyboard, run amok on a
whiteboard, or even strap on their steel caps and hard hats and
engage with construction teams on-site. And they need to be just as
comfortable briefing our senior executive and clinical
leadership.
And we need people that can run
teams, full of people just like this.
You will be very busy, but you will
never be bored, and you will always have the potential to make a
positive difference.
