This is a three (3) month fixed term, full-time position commencing February 2025 with possible extension (3 months) and/or permanency
The Schools Group is responsible for developing strategic directions to promote and enhance Government schools. This includes providing educational leadership to regions and schools, promoting excellence in teaching practices and learning outcomes, developing and implementing operational policies to achieve desired results, and setting directions for the delivery of services to schools.
The Role
In this dynamic role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of key initiatives and projects with operational significance and policy implications. You will undertake research, prepare high-quality briefing papers and reports, and offer policy and operational advice to ensure the delivery of impactful programs and strategies. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will facilitate quality outcomes, maintain effective relationships, and uphold confidentiality in all matters.
Your responsibilities will include identifying and addressing administrative system issues, supporting planning and decision-making processes, and contributing to the refinement of operational plans and procedures. Proficiency in developing and managing databases and systems will be essential, alongside ensuring compliance with the State Records Act 2000.
