This is a thirty-three (33) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extension
The Pilbara Education Regional are looking for a motivated Regional Attendance Coordinator to join their team.
To be successful to this role you will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The Role
The successful applicant will provide support to the Regional Executive Director in regional attendance data management and analysis, develop and implement regional level programs to ensure student retention, participation and engagement.
You will also monitor and support schools with school attendance strategies, issues and procedures. Manage regional level processes for ensuring student attendance and Facilitate development of regional-level agreements and protocols with support agencies and employer agencies to assist non-attending and alienated students.
You will conduct home visits and liaise with other regions to locate students. You will then identify the barriers for non-attendance and facilitate support to assist the student reengaging at school.
