The Role
The Assistant Cleaner in Charge supports in leading cleaning staff to maintain the physical environment of the college. Ideally, the successful applicant will have good interpersonal and communication skills and leadership skills with the ability to step into cleaner in charge role in their absence.
As the Assistant Cleaner in Charge, you would assist the Cleaner in Charge to organise and supervise cleaning staff and provide on the job induction training for new cleaning staff. To be successful in this position, you will ideally organise and supervise staff. You should have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices. You will ideally have strong interpersonal and team motivational skills and be happy to receive and carry out instructions as required.
