One Arm Point Remote Community School (OAPRCS) is a K-12 school in Ardyaloon (One Arm Point), an Aboriginal community 210km north of Broome on the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic in the promotion of Physical Education and Health within the school and will be responsible for the coordination and organisation of all school sporting events including camps and sport carnivals. They will also be well organised, motivated and committed to developing positive relationships and high expectations for all students.
Knowledge and competency in the Physical and Health Education component of the Western Australian (WA) Curriculum and reporting schedule is highly desirable. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Physical Education Studies and/or Outdoor Education is highly desirable.
As OAPRCS is a remote community school that manages relief in-house, the successful applicant may be require to cover classes across the curriculum from K-12.

Teachers and School Administrators employed at One Arm Point Remote Community School in 2025 are eligible to receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $2001 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
