We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officer for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
John Butler Primary College (JBPC), catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, is in the northern suburb of Butler. Opened in 2014, the college is of a modern and contemporary design, including purpose-built specialist facilities for students with disability, to create a positive and supportive learning environment in which all students can thrive. The innovative college model, which integrates a regular Primary Education Program and a dedicated Education Support Program for students with disability within one school, provides an inclusive and tailored learning experience to support students of all abilities to achieve their personal best.

The Role
JBPC is seeking motivated and proactive individuals for the position of School Officer. A key role of the School Officer should be to provide a culturally responsive, calm and welcoming environment for families and visitors to the school community with a focus on highly efficient customer service principles.
Suitable applicants will ideally possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy. JBPC offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, where the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize effectively under pressure will be highly valued.
School Officers should collaborate closely with the Manager of Corporate Services to meet role expectations and deliver desired outcomes. A flexible approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and workload demands, is essential.
Experience with the Student Information System (SIS), RM Finance, and RM Billing is desirable, but not essential.

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
