Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre (ESC) is a diverse, multicultural secondary school that caters for students with disabilities from Year 7 to Year 13. We are located on the same site as Dianella Secondary College and adjacent to Dianella Primary College. The Role
The role of the Technical Support Officer is to maintain the school’s information and Comunication Technology (ICT) systems and network, ensuring reliability and sustainability to enhance the learning environment.
The successful applicant would provide advice on technical issues and collaborate with administration to maintain and develop the network system. They will also provide technical support and training to all users throughout the school site on various software applications and provide access to systems and resources. In this role, the successful applicant would be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of information systems and ICT equipment in accordance with the school business needs and Department of Education policies and guidelines. This includes maintaining accurate records of ICT assets and resources and the development, implementation, and monitoring of a replacement plan.
The successful applicant will ideally have the ability to work as part of a versatile team, liaise with other Department of Education personnel and communicate with external providers. Experience working in a school would be highly desirable and in particular a thorough understanding of standard operating systems and their associated software. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of people and professionals to deliver customer service. The ability to build strong relationships and to work well with key stakeholders is highly desirable.
