The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our school programs. In this position, you work closely with the Student Services team to ensure that vulnerable secondary students and their families have equitable access to the support and resources they need. The successful applicant's responsibilities include providing pastoral care, monitoring attendance, facilitating referrals, managing programs for identified students and connecting families with external services. The successful applicant should also work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators, school psychologists, and external partners, ensuring a coordinated and holistic approach to student support.
The successful applicant will also be expected to actively engage in meetings and case conferences within the school and, when necessary, with external agencies. Additionally, you will provide support to the School Administration team in handling crisis management and response tasks as required.

Eligibility

- possess a Tertiary qualification in the Social or Behavioural Science area.
