The Role
The successful applicant, will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school Home Economics curriculum. As part of this role, you will engage and build productive working relationships with students and be involved collaboratively with your colleagues.
The successful applicant, you will ideally provide excellence in creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environment and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential. Ideally, you will have recent experience teaching across a range of Home Economics subject areas, and the ability to delivery Certificate courses or available to be upskilled will be highly regarded.
With effective interpersonal skills, you will work closely with students, colleagues and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students. Ideally, you will challenge conventional practices to provide successful outcomes for students, and continually reflect on their own practices to enhance performance. The ability to adapt with and utilise technology within the Home Economics learning area would be highly regarded.
