The Role
The successful applicant will undertake administrative tasks, whilst providing the school community with excellent support. The School Support Officer provides a customer-focused service to internal and external clients and attends to routine reception and client enquiries, answers incoming telephone calls and directs enquiries to the appropriate officer in a timely manner. In addition, you will prepare general correspondence, notices and other material.
The role of School Support Officer may require you to assist with administrative processes that ensure a responsive and effective student support service, including collaborating and conducting discussions with students, staff, parents/carers, and community members. The successful applicant will ideally have a vibrant personality, be high motivated, flexible, reliable and have a high degree of resilience as student services is a fast-paced environment. You should provide a high level of customer service in all matters of student services as required, in a timely and efficient manner. As the ‘face’ of Student Services at the front desk you will triage students to prioritise issues and concerns.

- Demonstrated ability to use a range of application software packages, particularly Microsoft Office, databases, spreadsheets and publishing programs.
