The Role
As a Library Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, provision of reference information and maintaining the environment and associated services of the school library to support the learning outcomes of students. The Library Officer also administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and library resources are maintained and processed so they are always accessible and available to students and staff.
The Library Officer will be responsible for assisting students, parents, and staff to select program and age-appropriate materials. They will also assist with the stocktaking and monitoring of the library budget and contributing to making recommendations for new library resources. Whilst in this role, an FTE increase may be available.
