This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency.
Parkwood Primary School (PS) opened in 1975 and is in the South Metropolitan Education region. The school sits adjacent to Lynwood Senior High School. Our students enjoy quality facilities, equipment, and resources to enhance their learning experiences.
The school has a current enrolment of approximately 600 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 including 80 children in the Intensive English Centre.

The Role
As a member of our team, you should possess knowledge and competencies in the Physical and Health Education component of the Western Australian Curriculum and reporting schedule. This role includes teaching students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 and working collaboratively with staff to provide an effective program.
We are seeking someone who can build a strong, engaging and hands on learning program in physical education and build sustainable links with the local community. Our Physical Education program allows students opportunities to extend their skill development through before school and lunch time activities. The successful applicant will need to plan and coordinate athletics carnivals and opportunities to participate in interschool competitions. The role may include teaching the health curriculum including protective behaviours.
