Shorehaven Primary School (PS) is located at the northern tip of Alkimos and continues to have rapid growth in student numbers from the surrounding estates of Shorehaven, Amberton and Alkimos Vista.

The Role
Shorehaven PS is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher with a passion for Science.
This will be a specialist position, providing Duties Other Than Teaching (DOTT) across our primary years. Our specialist team have played an integral role in helping develop a positive whole school culture and as such, the successful applicant will need to display or provide a vision of how their teaching will contribute to this culture.
Shorehaven PS uses a whole-school positive behaviour approach as a base for its code of conduct. Whilst knowledge of the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) model is not essential, strong behaviour management skills will be highly regarded given the diversity of year levels. Equally important will be applicant’s ability to use Information Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance learning and engage students in Science.
