The Role
The Administrative Support Officer will ideally provide advice and support in the coordination of human resource activities and operations. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in the use of Recruitment Advertising Management Systems (RAMS), Human Resources Management Information Systems (HRMIS) and School Information Systems (SIS).
The successful applicant will manage job vacancies in RAMS; coordinating HRMIS including for leave, payment and electronic advices processing; Spreadsheet management for all staff in association with the Deputy Principal and Manager Corporate Services; assisting in the implementation of staff induction; probation and performance management; Payroll verification and certification, including data entry for casual pay, providing human resource advice and information to staff is also integral to this role. Working with our Executive team and the Education Department’s Human Resources team to deliver Quality service with an approachable, caring, and friendly demeanour.
The successful applicant assists the Manager of Corporate Services to develop and implement asset management and maintenance strategies for school facilities, equipment and buildings and will ideally have well-developed ICT skills including knowledge of a system such as Compass, HRMIS, SIS (including RM Billing) and the ability to create, operate and manipulate databases, spreadsheets, and extract reports. They should have sound conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems and solutions.
The successful applicant will ideally have sound written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, be highly organised, have the ability to solve problems, meet deadlines, and implement strategy and manage Human Resource systems and processes.
