We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Bannister Creek Primary School (PS) is an Independent public school, situated in Lynwood. Our culturally rich community school caters for approximately 610 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 speaking 51 different home languages. In a beautifully planned environment that focuses on providing sustainable opportunities including a school gardening club with vegetable gardens, and an outdoor classroom on site as well as Moort Boodja - a 6 Seasons Garden, our students are nurtured to be autonomous learners who care for themselves, each other, and our environment. The Role
Suitable applicants should focus on teamwork, self-motivation, initiative and model excellence in customer and administrative support service delivery. They will ideally have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and be able to deliver outcomes while working to deadlines. Suitable applicants should be able to work collaboratively in a challenging, dynamic school environment as part of the office team. Previous school experience as Level 1 School Officer is advantageous.
Duties / Responsibilities ideally required but not limited to:
- Assist the Manager Corporate Services to maintain the financial position of the school.
- Handle Front Desk Inquiries
- Create and prepare material for publication on School Facebook page and website.
- Manage student medical forms.
- Process lesson attendance records
- Knowledge of RM Finance and RM Billing
- Knowledge of Human Resources Management Information System
- Thorough knowledge of SIS Integris is highly advantageous.
- Experience in event management for end of year award ceremonies
