The Role
Mindarie SC is seeking applicants who ideally have experience teaching senior secondary mathematics courses, including Mathematics Methods.
The successful applicant will ideally participate as an integral member of the Maths learning area and be responsible for supporting the collaborative approach to curriculum planning, providing learning programs to students suited to the needs of the school community and modelling exemplary teaching and learning strategies in your delivery. As such, successful applicants should possess a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and experience in, a range of instructional strategies and tactics.
Successful applicant should preferably also be dedicated and highly motivated educators with an excellent knowledge of the Senior School Western Australian Curriculum, be able to deliver content in an engaging manner and be a highly effective team member. As a reflective practitioner, successful applicants will ideally possess effective data literacy and a capacity to modify their practice to meet identified student needs. The capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices, including integration of information technology into the curriculum, is a requirement. Pastoral care also remains a highly desirable aspect of the role.
