WA College Of Agriculture - Narrogin (WACOA - Narrogin) has a long and proud history of servicing the agricultural community of Western Australia. Established in 1906, Narrogin is the oldest agricultural College in the state and consistently ranks in the Top Public Schools for Vocational Education and Training. Students in years 10 through 12 enrol from all over the state and the majority board on site in attractive residential facilities.
The College's courses are centred on agriculture and related trades, and students have access to education and training in industry relevant facilities. Agricultural theory forms part of the class program and is coupled with practical skills developed on the College's 1340-hectare farm that operates various commercial scale enterprises.

The Role
The Student Support Officer will work with Student Services, the College Residential facility staff, and administration staff to support students at educational risk (SAER). They will work with a multi-disciplinary team in the triaging of SAER and assist in ensuring their ongoing engagement or re-engagement with the education program of the College. This includes being involved with creating and implementing Documented Plans, including Individualized Education Programs, Group Education Programs, Risk Management Plans and Wellbeing Plans.
They will also assist Student Services in administrative duties by maintaining information and record systems, and in the management of internal resources such as the sick bay and the Student Services area. The Student Support Officer would also assist in critical incidents as directed by Senior Staff.
