About the Role
The Café Team Leader works as a member of the Catering team, leading the Food and Beverage Attendants in effective teamwork by promoting a positive work culture to maximise efficiency, quality and safety in the day-to-day operations of the Café.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity. You will be required to work a minimum of 152 hours per 4 weeks spread over a 7-day operation (including weekends and public holidays). Reasonable overtime to meet business needs is required and penalties and overtime are paid in addition to the base salary in accordance with agreement conditions.
Mobility between venues is essential as this position will work across the retail outlets at HBF Stadium, Bendat Basketball Centre, WA Athletics Stadium and HBF Arena.

About the Person
We are looking for a person who has previous experience in a café, food service or hospitality environment with the capability to ensure outstanding customer service is delivered. Our ideal candidate will have extensive espresso coffee making skills, the ability to supervise and train staff, cash handling and point of sale experience and good knowledge of food products, safety and hygiene.

Employment Screening

- Barista training with a recognised training provider; or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement;

Future Appointments
