The Role
The Student Services Support Officer should have the capacity to undertake a wide range of administrative and student focused support services within the school. To be suitable in this role, you will ideally possess strong computer skills using various Microsoft office and Department of Education databases, such as student records and management information systems that relate to attendance, good standing, uniforms, transfers and personal data. Also, having the ability to generate statistical, academic and Centrelink reports and letters, as well as being able to coordinate administrative tasks for the student services section will be highly regarded.
As a Student Services Support Officer, you will ideally exhibit confidence in developing induction programs and materials in relation to the training needs of the school’s administrative support staff. Also, being able to review our student services processes and procedures in order to facilitate office effectiveness as well as identifying student needs and requirements will be very advantageous. Ideally, the suitable applicants will also provide administrative support for special projects across teams as these business needs arise within the school.
