We are seeking an energetic, innovative and inspiring educational leader to take up the position of Program Coordinator – Student Central, working initially with Years 7 and 8. This represents an exciting opportunity for a school leader who possesses the vision, professional knowledge and skills to strategically lead a dual year Student Central team, improving outcomes for all students.
As the Program Coordinator you will lead a team of teaching and non-teaching staff in collaboration with our Associate Principals and other members of the School Leadership Team. Positive public relations skills are integral, as the role includes liaising with parents and government and non-government agencies. You should have leadership experience in working to ensure all students are provided opportunities to achieve their desired pathway. With the commitment and desire to create and sustain a student-centred environment, you should communicate positively and effectively whilst at all times modelling and promoting the school’s vision, mission and core values.
As a Quality Teaching Strategy Lead School, successful applicants will ideally be familiar with the Teaching For Impact Framework and understand what effective teachers believe, know and do to support student success. Our current Business Plan focuses on our vision to “honour the culture, embrace opportunity and shape the future”. Further information can be found here. We strongly encourage applicants to read through the plan to better understand the context of the role and our commitment to ensure our students are equipped with the skills, capabilities and understandings that will empower them to live and work successfully in the 21st century.
