We are seeking to establish a pool of Teachers – Visual Arts for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Beeliar Primary School (PS) is a Level 5 Independent Public School with a school population of approximately 500 students. We cater for a diverse population of students, including 10% Aboriginal students.

Within this pool we are looking to identify Visual Arts teachers who can adopt our whole school connected practices and embed technologies for our bring your own device (BYOD) students in Years 4-6.

The Role
We are looking for suitable applicants who possess exemplary teaching skills and can deliver curriculum in a Visual Arts specialist capacity.
Our Business Plan is currently being developed which will drive our school improvement agenda for 2025. This includes developing our quality teaching practices, distributed leadership model and partnerships with our families. Ideally our Visual Arts teacher will support our Business Plan direction to connect with the community and enhance the grounds of our school through art installation and visual art projects.
Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated, and skilled educators who are committed to improving outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching, and instructional strategies. In addition, they will provide an inclusive and differentiated learning environment that fosters learning and development of the whole child.
Applicants should pursue excellence in teaching and have high expectations for themselves, their students, and their colleagues. At Beeliar PS we value collaborative practices and work together in collaborative teams to develop and deliver consistent, high-quality teaching and learning programs, this includes a specialist team who meet regularly to consult and collaborate.
Applicantsshould align their teaching practice to support our whole school strategies where relevant to Visual Arts. Experience embedding technologies through our 1:1 BYOD environment is desirable. At Beeliar we use technology to enhancing learning.
