We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Gingin District High School (DHS) is an Independent Public School situated 85 kilometres from the CBD of Perth. Our catchment area is large, over 3000 square kilometres and students come to school from a variety of backgrounds, some of whom are affected by trauma and bring complex social and behavioural issues to school. Our ICSEA is around 970, making us a Band 7 school.
Our school uses a variety of whole school programs to develop Literacy and Numeracy, including Sounds Write, MacqLit and Talk for Writing, as well as Maths 300 and Problem Solving. If you are not familiar with these programs, we are able to support your development through professional learning.
