As an Independent Public School in the City of Joondalup, we provide our students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with a caring environment and encouragement to strive for excellence in all aspects of their academic and personal development.
Edgewater Primary School (PS) has a focus on literacy and numeracy skills, supported by a strong pastoral care strategy. There are school-wide procedures for the early identification and support of students with learning difficulties, as well as those with behavioural, emotional or social challenges.
Students have access to laptops and iPads to support the curriculum. A BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) programme is currently available to Year 4 students.

The Role
The successful applicant will be an integral member of the leadership team, providing support to establish and maintain a school environment that excels in caring for its students, and their families, developing strong and positive relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community. You will ideally possess excellent interpersonal acumen and be an innovative and strategic thinker. Your strong understanding of how the financial operations of the school support exemplary teaching and learning should be central to how you undertake your role.
In this role, you should be responsible for the mentoring, development, and management of school support staff as well as forging highly effective working relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
You ideally would possess high level skills in management of support staff and will ideally have knowledge of, and experience in, strategic planning and budgeting. You will also ideally have excellent organisational skills and will possess the ability to plan and prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
Accomplished knowledge and skills in delivering support for school ICT plans, projects and services, including an understanding of Department ICT policies and procedures is an advantage.
