The Role
As an Education Assistant - Mainstream, you should have a passion for working with students and possess highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills. We are seeking candidates who are committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. This role involves working as part of a dedicated team and offers the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community. Flexibility is important, as you may work across a range of early childhood classrooms.
Ideal candidates will be organised and proactive in assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment. This includes maintaining equipment, materials and resources for classroom use, as well as assisting with displays and ensuring the safe storage and cleaning of items after classes and activities. You will also support the teacher in supervising students during out-of-class activities and on school excursions.
We seek enthusiastic team members who can adapt tasks to meet student needs, reflect on their practice, and are open to observation and feedback to guide their professional growth. Collaboration with staff to support and monitor student progress is highly regarded, and your contributions will be valued.
