We are seeking to establish a pool of Program Coordinator - Student Services for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Aveley Secondary College (SC) opened in 2018 and is a large secondary school catering for Year 7-12 in Perth’s Swan Valley. The Role
The Program Coordinator – Student Services is a key role in supporting the schools vision and moral purpose “success for every student, every day”. The Program Coordinator will manage and deliver relevant programs and initiatives to support staff and students and enhance the positive teaching and learning environment of the college. They will also be a key member of the school leadership team, working towards the deliverables within the school plan and strategic directions document.
The successful applicant should have the capacity to support student achievement through a positive learning framework and approach. They will oversee the student services portfolios in one of the College’s sub schools or championing the newly implement behaviour curriculum and Conditions for Learning strategies. A main component of each of these roles is data analysis and tracking student attendance, behaviour and performance.
Your leadership should be supported by the capacity to build positive relationships with staff, as you collaboratively lead holistic support services across the school. The successful applicant will desirably have highly efficient communication and interpersonal skills. You should be highly collaborative, able to nurture and build a team and professional learning culture.
