This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025
Wellard Primary School (PS) opened in 2018 and expects to commence 2025 with 940 students from Kindergarten to Year Six. The Role
The successful applicant will teach music across a range of ability levels from Years 2 - 6. Applicants who have sound classroom management, can develop rapport and engage students, who can differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs, and who can practise a range of teaching strategies are encouraged to apply.
Experience in establishing a school choir and showcasing students’ talents to the wider community, is highly desirable. As a specialist Teacher of Music. You will be an integral part of our teaching team.
The successful applicant should have highly developed skills and experience in teaching Music. The successful applicant would also ideally actively contribute and support a collaborative team approach to develop a culture of excellence in The Arts teaching and learning programs.
