We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant – Mainstream’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Located approximately 10 kilometres south of Fremantle, Western Australia, Coogee Primary School (established in 1894) nestles in a tranquil environment with lush gardens and shade trees and offers education for Kindy to Year 6. The school has experienced significant growth in the past 5 years, and student numbers are projected to be over 620 in 2025.

The Role
As an Education Assistant, you will assist the teacher in the delivery of planned education programs, including the operation of computers; and, under teacher direction, implement individual or small group programs.
In this role you will ideally be able to collaborate and work in a team environment, possess good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group programs, as well as display the ability to support general health and well-being of students. Suitable applicants will ideally be organised and be able to use their initiative to assist with the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment.
