For more than forty years, the college has delivered specialised education programs and support services designed to meet the unique needs of international students studying university pathway programs. In 2024, domestic student enrolments were reinstated for Years 10, 11 and 12, enabling local students to complete their senior secondary education in an international study environment.

The Role
The Curriculum Support Officer will provide administrative support to the college senior leadership team, with a focus on the management of curriculum related databases for international and local students. The officer should work in close consultation with the Principal, Director of International Operations and Deputy Principal Curriculum to ensure the provision of accurate and timely data and statistical reports for the college and external stakeholders including State and Commonwealth government agencies.
The successful applicant should display a sound working knowledge of enrolment policies and processes as these apply to the Canning College context. They will ideally display attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in their work, and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet stringent deadlines in a busy office environment. They should model effective customer and administrative support services, and display strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving ability. The ideal applicant will be reliable, proactive and self-motivated, and will value working collaboratively with their colleagues.
The Curriculum Support Officer should display the professional experience, interpersonal skills and cross-cultural understandings to interact productively with education agents, international and local students and their families, as well as with representatives of government agencies and other stakeholder groups, in Canning College’s unique educational setting.
