The Role
As a Mainstream Education Assistant, you will be assisting in the delivery of high quality, student-focused learning programs. In this role you will ideally collaborate and work well in a team environment, possess good written and oral communication skills enabling implementation of individual or small group programs with both primary and secondary students, and provide support to ensure the learning environment is inclusive and relevant with the health and safety of students being a high priority.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience in using direct and explicit instruction and the ability to manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies and programs.
