The Role
Inglewood PS is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic School Officer to join our friendly and highly supportive team.
The successful applicant should work collaboratively as part of the office team in a busy and dynamic school environment. Previous school experience as a Level 1 School Officer is essential. Our students, staff and the wider community are a priority for the school so liaising respectfully and positively, at all times, is an important aspect of the role.
The successful applicant will ideally have an excellent focus on teamwork, self-motivation, initiative, excellence in customer service delivery and administrative support. Strong organisational skills, the flexibility to move between tasks and deliver outcomes while working to deadlines in a complex and fast paced environment is highly desirable.
Duties/Responsibilities ideally required (but not limited to):
- Assist Manager Corporate Services to maintain the financial position of the school
- Handle front desk inquiries
- Thorough knowledge of SIS Integris is highly advantageous
- Compass experience is desirable
- Manage student medical forms
- Process lesson attendance records
- Collaborate with all staff on daily operations
- Liaise with the community in a supportive and inclusive way
- Positive approach to the role and ability to learn new skills and processes when needed
- Reassuring and supportive manner with staff, students and parents

- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
