We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaner In Charge for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The school cleaning schedule is from 6 AM to 9 AM and 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Positions are available for mornings only or afternoons only and are negotiable.

The Role
Suitable applicants should carry out internal cleaning duties, in accordance with the Department’s procedures. Duties include the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, drinking troughs and other items of general cleaning
In addition to this, suitable applicants will also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning and other such duties as required by the Cleaner-in-Charge. Vacation cleaning duties will need to be completed and these include shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning various areas.
Suitable applicants will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team, to ensure a clean and safe school environment. Suitable applicants should be organised, honest, reliable and punctual.
