Cooloongup Primary School (PS) is located away from main roads in a quiet area in the City of Rockingham. Our unique location and grounds provide outdoor play spaces which are safe and inclusive whilst encouraging student exploration in both structured and free play-based learning activities. The Role
Cooloongup PS is seeking a Cleaner who is hard working to join their friendly team.
In this role you will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. It will be highly regarded if you are organised, honest, reliable, punctual and have excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.
The successful applicant will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal and other general cleaning.
Some of the external cleaning duties are, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning and removal of cobwebs, also complete vacation cleaning duties including the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, pressure cleaning of verandas and other duties as required by the Cleaner in Charge or Line Manager.
