The Role
As the successful applicant you will ideally work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community. As the first point of contact for staff and students in one of our Administration offices you should be well organised, friendly and have the ability to prioritise tasks, assist and mentor other support staff and liaise with staff and students in the delivery of excellent office support. Experience with Schools Information System (SIS) Integris, absentees, enrolments, faults management, Reporting to Parents, timetabling, RM Finance, RM Billing, Microsoft 365, and producing mail merge documents would be highly regarded.
The school officer will ideally be heavily involved in the operations of the Wellbeing Team. They should be the first point of contact for parents and students accessing the Wellbeing space. As a member of a highly complex, dynamic team the applicant will ideally be someone who is organised and flexible with transparent, calm and timely communication. Time management skills are seen as advantageous to manage the competing demands of the Wellbeing centre. Applicants will ideally be willing to adopt a trauma-informed approach at all times and ensure they focus on rapport development with staff, students and families. Operationally, knowledge and experience with school based administrative systems including but not limited to SEQTA or Compass, SIS and Microsoft programs will be highly advantageous

- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
