This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2025

The Role
The successful applicant should possess the ability to assist in teaching literacy, numeracy, and social skills. The successful applicant will ideally be flexible and willing to collaborate, work in teams and use explicit teaching techniques. Under teacher direction, you will implement individual or small group programs or demonstrations and assist in preparing and maintaining the learning environment and school resources. You will also assist the teacher with the care and supervision of students during class activities and excursions, as well as assisting the teacher with the general care and wellbeing of the students.
We seek enthusiastic team members who continually reflect on their practice and are open to being observed and receiving feedback to guide their professional growth. You will ideally contribute advice and expertise; collaborating with staff to support and monitor student progress.
A knowledge of Mini Lit, Promoting Literacy Development, and Positive Behaviour Support would be highly desirable.
